Glyn Memorial Trophy Stages

This year's Pentraeth Mazda Glyn Memorial Stages Rally is yet again sponsored by the Pentraeth Group and we thank Mr Ken Jones for his long standing support of the event.

There are many changes to this years Glyn in order to get more action in and less cost to you the competitor (scrutineering and a late very dark finish on the Saturday). It has been split in to three events, Glyn Memorial Trophy Stages, Caernarvonshire Stages and Anglesey Stages. The Glyn remains “The big one” covering both Saturday and Sunday and the only event in the ANWCC & WAMC championships. The Caernarvonshire Stages runs on the Saturday and Anglesey Stages held on Sunday.

Regulations for all three events are available to download at the bottom of this page.

Glyn Memorial Trophy Stages

Nat B Single venue stage rally held on the Anglesey Circuit over the 6th & 7th of November 2010.

Scrutineering on Saturday morning so no need to travel on the Friday and a 1pm start. The last car will finish day one at 9pm so plenty of stage time in the dark! Day two will start at 9am and finish at 3pm. This is a total of 60 Stage miles (20miles in the dark).

The Glyn is the last round of the WAMC Welsh Tarmacadam Rally Championship and a round of the ANWCC Stage Rally Championship, ANWCC Ladies Rally Championship, ANWCC All-rounder Championship and Glynne Edwards Memorial Championship.

There are the usual classes with the addition of a Road Rally class (as per WAMC regulations) as you are used to running in the dark, and a Historic class for the older cars. All class winners will be awarded with a half price entry fee on the 2011 Glyn Stages and there are plenty of classes and awards up for grabs. 2010 entry fee is expected to be £260

Caernarvonshire Stages

Nat B Single venue stage rally held on the Anglesey Circuit on Saturday the 6th of November 2010.

Scrutineering on Saturday morning so no need to travel on the Friday and a 1pm start. The Last car is expected to finish day one at 9pm so plenty of stage time in the dark!

The Caernarvonshire Stages is not a ANWCC or WAMC championship round (the Glyn is). But there will still be a full day's rallying with 30 Stage miles. The entry fee is expected to be £140
