Results - July Autotest & PCA

Evening Autotest 13 July 2010

The second evening Autotest & PCA was mostly run in the rain, so it was fortunate that there were no grass sections planned.   There were four test sites laid out with competitors visiting them in four rounds.    With the worst score on each site to be dropped, the battle for FTD was fierce.

Endaf Davies was quickest on Test Site A (which was the only site timed to a tenth of a second).   Lee Barnes quickest on Test Site B, and he tied with Sion Matthews on Test Site C.   Sion Matthews and Endaf Davies tied for quickest on Test Site D, but both incurred penalties on their other runs.   After discarding their worst scores FTD went to Sion Matthews with Endaf Davies second and Lee Barnes third.  

14 year old Charlotte Stephenson got round penalty free on her first PCA in a Mazda 121, while Elis Matthews was highest placed Junior Driver despite destroying the clutch on the SEAT Ibiza.

All 17 starters finished a well received event which finished at 9.15pm.
