Championship Rules

To be eligible for Club Championship points the individual mush be a fully paid up member of the Caernarvonshire & Anglesey Motor Club Limited.
Points cannot be awarded retrospectively for events where the individual was not a member at that time.
Points will be awarded automatically for all C & A MC organised events where results are received.
Points will be awarded automatically to any C & A MC member who is a registered championship contender with a Regional Association to which the C & A MC is affiliated (currently ANWCC or WAMC) showing Caernarvonshire & Anglesey Motor Club Limited as one of your represented motor clubs, on any of that association’s championship rounds.
For non-regional championship events to which C & A MC is an invited club, provide a copy of an event entry list showing C & A MC as the individuals represented motor club and a corresponding set of full results.
The deadline for claiming championship points is 1 calendar month from the day of the event.

All Championships will run yearly from 1st January to 31stDecember, with the exception of C & A MC organised events held between 25th December and 31stDecember, which will count for “both” years’ championships.

Points scoring will be as follows:
For all competitive championships (Rally / Autotests / Trials / Navigation Runs) scoring will be based on class position:
1st in Class - 10 points;    2nd in Class - 9 points;  down to 8th in class – 3 points. All other class finishers score 2 points. Non-finishers score 1 point. If an event amalgamates classes, then the amalgamated class structure will be used to score points.

For non-competitive championships (marshals / social gatherings) 1 point will be awarded per member for attendance provided that they complete the signing-on sheet for such events.

To be classified as a Novice in a particular form of motorsport event the member must NOT have previously (no matter how long ago):
In an Autotest: Won an Autotest, Autosolo or P.C.A.
In a Car Trial: Won a Car Trial, Production Car Trial, Classic Trial or British Car Trial.
In a Rally: Finished in the top 10 of a Road Rally, Historic Road Rally, Stage Rally (Single or Multi Venue / Tarmac, mixed or loose), or finished in the top 3 of a “Category” within a Stage Rally (such as 1400’s or Historic Categories); or won a Novice Road Rally.
