Report

The Nav Run was organised by Dion Bee and Emma Wyn Roberts and although they were a little disappointed to see only six crews signing on, they were sure they'd have fun. With a slightly longer than usual route and a few manned controls thrown in for good measure, it was sure to be a close fight!
We believe a combination of daylight, overgrown hedgrows, grass and Emma's devious hiding places made the code boards harder to spot!!

A few thank yous from Dion & Emma:
Shaun Bee, Sian Jones & Arwel 'Ty Cerrig' for manning the controls.  Chloe Thomas for shooting and editing the video on the night. Daniel Owen for the use of Llaethdy Glanrhyd, Pentir as the start venue. Ben Green for the use of Yr Afr, Penygroes to finish.

Results :
1st – Merfyn Williams & Iwan Jones - Ford Focus ST - 24 pts.
2nd – Stephen McEnhill & Simon Drakley  - Mini Cooper S - 20pts.
3rd – Robin Jones & Sion Jones - Ford Focus - 19pts.
4th - Karen Thomas & Gruff Thomas - Volvo V70 - 14pts.
5th - Alwyn Day & Aliah Williams - BMW X5 - 10pts.
Retired – Nicholas Jones & Jac Jones – VW Caddy.

A little gutting for Aliah who, for her first time navigating, came back with 25pts making them winners but arriving 15 minutes late and therefore forfeiting 15pts, dropping them to 5th! A reminder to keep one eye on the clock next time!
Well done to everyone who finished, especially Merfyn and Iwan for winning - well done, both!
The team hope to see you again, soon! All proceeds from this Nav Run will go towards the Jaffa Fund and we hope to raise more at the Anglesey Autofest!
